June 2024 is the last FULL MONTH College Football fans will go without a college football video game! Over the last month, we have received a lot of information on the game, views of the gameplay, and changes EA has made to differentiate College Football from Madden. I am super excited. I am writing about it because I intend to stream every game I play on YouTube (Click here to subscribe), and I want you all to help guide me through my 30-year coaching career! Buckle up Ok Listen Here Fans, because this blog is about to be flooded with a lot of CFB25 content. Today, I want to get into what teams I am considering starting my Dynasty at. Dynasty Mode in EA Sports College Football 25 allows users to control a college football program as a Head Coach or Coordinator. I ALWAYS start as an offensive coordinator. This year, I am considering starting with a few teams and want your input. Let's get into those teams. UNC Charlotte 49ers I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and my family had season passes for the 49ers' first few seasons. A year or two after EA Sports stopped making college football games, UNCC had a football team that would have been in the games. As a kid, this was upsetting to me because I couldn't be the coach of my favorite team. Now that UNCC is in the game, I have the opportunity to do what I've longed to do for so long. MTSU Blue Raiders Now that I'm a resident of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, it only feels right to have MTSU as an option. This would be a fun option because MTSU just lost its head coach of 18 years, and it would be cool to be the guy who takes over that program and builds it into a playoff contender. Akron Zips or UMass Akron and UMass are obvious options for the same reasons. They suck. Half the fun in playing Dynasty Mode is building up a team with absolutely zero winning tradition. You could move UMass into the MAC, and we all need a little MACtion in our lives. Back in the day, I used to start my career off as an Offensive Coordinator at Akron and go from there. Often, I would somehow get them into the Top 25 as a coordinator and would then have my pick of the litter when it was time to become a Head Coach somewhere. There might be a few more that I consider as we approach launch, but for right now, these are the four teams I'm considering! In the survey below, let me know what team you think I should start with!
