The Driver Profile Series

​Before the beginning of the 2022 NASCAR season, I became a fan of Ricky Stenhouse Jr because I did just a little bit of digging online and found out that the team he drove for, JTG Daugherty Racing, was headquartered out of my hometown of Harrisburg, North Carolina. Since then, I have become an absolute die-hard of Ricky Stenhouse and the JTG Daugherty Racing Team, which has driven me to watch every single race while listening to the team scanner and watching the onboard cameras

Just two years ago, I had never watched an entire NASCAR race on TV. The only races that I had watched all the way through were the Coca-Cola 600s that I attended. I was roped into watching every race because of one simple fact I found out about the JTG Daugherty team after about five minutes of digging online. Since then, it has become something that my wife, who cared nothing for NASCAR before meeting me, and I bond over. Everyone knows me as the Ricky Stenhouse fan. I'm the guy people go to if they have questions about NASCAR. 

This has led me to begin the Driver Profile Series on Dawson's Sports Blog. My hope with this series is to give my audience a little bit of information about a driver after doing a little bit of digging online. Through this series, I hope you will find a driver that you can cling to like I have Ricky Stenhouse, and join me in conversing about racing! 

I plan to publish a new driver profile every Friday so that, heading into the weekend, you have a little bit of information about a driver that you can hold onto while watching the race. So, this Friday, we will kick off the series by doing a profile on none other than Ricky Stenhouse! My favorite driver!
