There was a time not so long ago I worked as a Department Lead at Bass Pro. It was my first job out of college, working for $15 an hour, and I knew almost nothing about fishing. In my interview for the job, I said I had done catfishing because I knew all you needed was literal garbage and a big hook in the water to catch something. It is still, to this day, in my opinion, the easiest type of fishing.
As Sydney and I continue to figure out this whole adulting thing, we make a lot of decisions on our drives to and from Nashville or Charlotte to plan our wedding or see our parents. Since we moved into our own apartment this last summer, we decided that we would get another puppy after our honeymoon. We have the space for another, Sydney will have a lot of time to train, and frankly, Memphis needs a friend.
Finding inspiration for my blogs has not been difficult since spending more time working on The 62 Journal. Somedays, I'll be at work, and a coworker will say something that ignites that spark that gets me into a blogging mood. Today it was as simple as walking around the campus of Western Carolina with Sydney and Memphis.
Anybody that knows me can probably agree when I say this, but management is my calling. From a very young age, I was always the kid in the neighborhood that would put together backyard football games, manhunt nights, scooter races, and all that other fun stuff. If the neighborhood kids were getting together, odds are I was behind the function.
