Summary

This week the power rankings remained relatively calm compared to some weeks we have seen in the past. The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers find themselves at the bottom of the list after nearly getting swept by the Carolina Mudcats. The Winston-Salem Dash were able to somewhat bounce back after last weeks embarrassing series against the Greensboro Grasshoppers and they climb two spots as a result of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and Charlotte Knights recent performances. Speaking of he Grasshoppers, they remain in the #1 spot for another week! The Asheville Tourists move up on the Woodpeckers despite the Woodpeckers impressive series against Fredericksburg. Had the Woodpeckers played a better team they may be in the Top-3 with a performance like that. The Bulls and Crawdads remain at #4 and #5.

The Top-4 are pretty much neck and neck with one another. The Grasshoppers remain the only undefeated team in North Carolina. The Bulls bounced back with a 4-2 series against the Memphis RedBirds. A solid series against the Gwinnett Stripers is just what the Bulls need. The Mudcats had the best week but their near sweep last week pushes them down below the Wood Ducks who appear to be hitting their stride after hitting a slump there for a while.
