It has now been a little over a year since we started Sydney Chronicles and I think it’s time for a little update..so HI I’m Sydney Haywood formerly Sydney Mundell. I just turned 21 like 3 three days ago. I got married on December 17, 2022. I have two Australian Shepherds named Dixie and Memphis. Memphis is a mini and just turned two and Dixie is a standard and is about 5 months old. My husband is the founder of Ok Listen Here Media Co. and I help him out. I have an official title but I don’t remember it and basically what I do is create content and on my pages, help him with content, and design everything for our online store and the rest of our pages. I am also a senior in college at Western Carolina University and I am studying to be a social worker at the moment. In this family, we watch NASCAR on Sundays. Every Sunday, no matter where we are at. Do I find it interesting? Yeah not really. I try to get a little involved since Dawson LOVES it and he enjoys it but let’s be honest it is really just cars going around in circles. A few weekends ago we were watching the Daytona 500 and low and behold Dawson’s favorite NASCAR driver won. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the Daytona 500. The races of races. Or so Dawson tells me, I don’t really know.
Since the last few articles I have posted have been extremely serious let’s talk about something that’s more light-hearted and funny. My crazy, hooligan dogs. Miss Dixie has been growing like a weed and is a little more than 20 lbs now and just about as big as Memphis. She has found out that she can lie down on the back of the couch and that is now her spot…right behind my head. The dogs are slowly but surely figuring out how to get along and be friends but lord now they drive me crazy because they are always running around like a bunch of hooligans. P.S. I am so sorry to our downstairs neighbors… they like to get the zoomies at like 11:30 at night. Dixie just got her last round of shots and we are going to start focusing more on training and not giving in to distractions all the time. She already knows how to sit, shake, lay down, roll over, spin around, and partially knows leave it. Which for her only being 4 months old is a miracle in and of itself. A lot of you may not agree with the lifestyle Dawson and I have chosen for ourselves and might even judge us for it. That’s okay and you’re entitled to that opinion. In this article, I really want to highlight our roles, set a few things straight, and most importantly talk about the man I love. This article may be a tad bit controversial, I don't really know. Also I want to preface this with every couple has different roles and plays different parts within their own relationship and we do not judge others for those roles if they look different than they do in our own relationship. I am writing this based off the comments we receive based off of our own relationship pretty frequently. Quite honestly we don't care what other people think, we will ALWAYS do what is best for us and what we think is right. So if you don't agree with our lifestyle or this article, keep your opinions to yourself, we simply do not care about them. Thank you. |
