Journal #21: Ok Listen Here's One Year Anniversary!!!

​Wow. I cannot believe that it has been a year since I sat down in my dorm room, purchased a domain, and started pumping out articles on the Ok Listen Here Sports Blog. I don't remember the exact reason why I started writing sports articles, but after looking back at my first article, Ryan Pace must have pissed me off enough signing Andy Dalton to get this thing going. ​

I had no expectations when launching Oklistenhere.com, but the website had received way more attention than anticipated. As a result, this hobby of mine and the brand became more of a niche community where readers, followers, and myself discussed the topics I wrote about and gave my opinion on topics others wanted to discuss. 

One thing that I have stood by the last year is I have never put out a piece of content for the sake of putting out a piece of content. Everything that I have written has come from a place of passion. That expectation is to stay moving forward and for anybody joining the Ok Listen Here team. 

2022, so far, has been a remarkable year! In less than three months, Oklistenhere.com reached over 50% of the viewership numbers in 2021. It has been amazing seeing the response on the JTG Daugherty Racing Series, our second season of our Minor League Monday Series (my favorite series to do), Sydney Chronicles, Keaton Long Snapping, the Little Aussie Podcast, and more! I love knowing that so many people share the same passion as me and are willing to read and engage with the content that Ok Listen Here puts out.
