Dear Duke,
I love you. I love you more than I love my wife some days. Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and it's time for me to express my love for you. I've hidden it for years. My father raised me to like the Carolina Tar Heels. I've never been confident enough to come out, but Duke, my love for you cannot be contained anymore.

Okay. So Oklahoma City has an absurd amount of picks over the next few years, and the likelihood that they pick up Bronny James is stupidly higher than any other team. Whether it's my beloved Thunder or any other team in the NBA, someone will end up with Lebron and Bronny since Lebron is going to go wherever Bronny goes. That could be the Australian League for all I know. Wouldn't that be something?
They say that ignorance is bliss. And I fully believe in that statement. Those that know me know that I love to bring up conspiracy theories at the family function. It always sparks very entertaining banter. Though it may make my wife's parents question why they let this foil hat-wearing dude into the family, bringing things up like the moon landing being fake or the Illuminati controlling our every move, and having SOME data to back up these claims always leaves people second guessing everything they know.
The Chicago Bears have just concluded their best season since they last visited the Super Bowl in 2006. Mitch Trubisky is in his second year playing quarterback for the Chicago Bears, and Matt Nagy is in his first year as the team's head coach. Heading into the 2019 Wildcard Round of the NFL Playoffs, the Bears look like they can make their first playoff run in a long time. It was unprobable with a first-year head coach and a second-year quarterback, but the talk of a visit to the Super Bowl was in circulation.
This past season, Texas proved to all Oklahoma fans that they are back for good. They finally got one over on OU after the mass exodus following Lincoln Riley's departure from Norman. Oklahoma's roster was in shambles after losing several starters. A first-year head coach took over the reins of the team. There was a lot to figure out in Norman. It was enough to give Texas their first win over Oklahoma since 2018. But, that's no excuse.
I fully expected the Chicago Bears to have a down season this year, especially with a first-time, first-year head coach taking the reigns of the team. Looking at the schedule, had I predicted their record this year before the season, I don't think I would have expected just three wins. Five or six would have been a reasonable prediction, but I don't think anyone could have predicted that the Bears would have the worst record in the league this season.
According to the XFL website, the XFL is a brand new, fan-first league that's reimagining the game of football and offering fans an opportunity to experience more action, access, and fun. The league has eight teams from St. Louis, Seattle, Arlington, Houston, San Antonio, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and Orlando.
I was scrolling through Twitter today, as I usually do most nights, and saw that Matt Nagy was trending. So, of course, as a Chicago Bears fan seeing his name on Twitter piqued my curiosity. After about two seconds of digging, I figured out all the uproar was over what Clay Harbor (@ClayHarbs82) Tweeted. He Tweeted, "I was talking to an ex-Bears player last week, and he said Matt Nagy was a good coach, but Mitch couldn't run his system. Said Nagy didn't want Mitch, but his hands were tied."
The College Football National Championship is set to kick off Monday night at 7:30! I have a love/hate relationship with the CFB National Championship because it is one of the most electric games of the year, but it's the end of the College Football Season. The appearance of an unsuspecting team for the second year in a row makes this year's playoffs extra exciting.
