Dear Dallas Cowboy's Fans, I am writing this letter to you with a heavy heart. To be honest, I am at a loss for words. I know that many of you may be disappointed or even angry with me, but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
You see, I have always been a fan of the Chicago Bears for my entire life (and they will continue to be my #1 team). For some reason, the Dallas Cowboys have been my least favorite team in the league besides the Green Bay Packers. For that, I am so sorry. But recently, something changed. Ole Jerry Jones drafted one of my old teammates, Jalen Brooks. Brooks is a kid that you can't help but root for, and I hope you all will love him as much as my hometown does. I couldn't help but feel a new sense of loyalty to this team. I know you lifelong Dallas fans aren't used to someone converting over to a Dallas fan, but I hope that you can accept my apology for my past hatred of the organization and accept me with open arms as I will be rooting for Dallas for the first time in my life and buying my first Dallas Cowboys jersey in the coming days. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope we can move forward together, as fans of DEM BOYZ! Sincerely, Dawson Haywood
