A buddy of mine shoot me a text asking me how I thought Notre Dame's season would pan out, and this was my response.
(1-0) Navy | Win, duh (2-0) Tennessee State | If they don't win this, there's a bigger issue going on (3-0) NC State | Win. Sam Hartman gets his revenge. (4-0) Central Michigan | Come on. Dub. Cupcake game. (4-1) Ohio State | Loss, but it will be a great game. Both teams will likely be in the Top-10 coming into this game. Ohio State's only kryptonite is Michigan. (5-1) Duke | Come on... (6-1) Louisville | Lamar Jackson isn't there anymore. (7-1) USC | This game could go either way, especially since they are in SoCal, but those Cali boys care more about a check than winning football games. USC is overrated (I'm trying to be unbiased here). Notre Dame walks out of SoCal with a dub. (8-1) Pitt | Dub (8-2) Clemson | I'm officially writing this up as a toss-up game, but you don't want a toss-up answer, you want an absolute. I go back and forth on who I think will win because, on the one hand, I think Clemson will have a down year, but they're like the Golden State Warriors. Just when you think they've had enough, they come back in a big way. This game is also in Death Valley, and for that reason, I'm awarding Clemson with a win here. Take this game out of Death Valley, and I'd be more confident in choosing Notre Dame to win this game. But I'll reiterate: this could go either way. (9-2) Wake Forest | Dub, but Wake fights hard this game and gives Notre Dame a good scare. (10-2) Stanford | Dub. Easy Ceiling: 12-0 and competing for a National Title Floor: 10-2. Finishes as a Top-10 team
