Today's game against the Mountaineers is a must-win for the Sooners. Two consecutive losses ruin any shot at us competing for a National Title this season, but that doesn't mean the season is all for nothing. I am a huge believer that losing a game or two can benefit a team more than it hurts a team. Now that the Sooners have bled, they have a lot of tape to look back on from their games against Kansas and Oklahoma State on what not to do going into today's game. ESPN is giving Oklahoma an 88.8% chance to beat West Virginia. Last season in Morgantown, the Mountaineers snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Sooners. This game will be the 15th matchup between the two schools, and Oklahoma leads the series 11 to 3 wins.
Oklahoma has got to find consistency on both sides of the field today. Both offense and defense have to tighten up the loose ends opponents have taken advantage of the last few games. Like I said, they have enough tape to look at and understand what not to do. I expect to see a polished Oklahoma team today, and I think the Sooners will blow out the Mountaineers today.
